Battleseries: Refactored takes the original Battleseries and refactors it into a far more optimal, modular, and flexible system for expansion into a far more comprehensive product. ​

My main objectives have been taking the original mechanics and systems of Battleseries and making them more data-driven, modular, and optimized using new means, methods, and skillsets I've picked up such as C++, Data-Oriented Design, and Entity-Component Systems as well as introduce new systems and mechanics that were not included in the original Battleseries that take advantage of such things.

The ByLight FPV Drone Simulator is a Military Drone Simulator created in tandem with Cole Engineering Services Inc. for use by the U.S. Marines and other branches of the DOD in training switchblade drone pilots. I was contracted out by Good Game Devs as a Junior Gameplay Software Engineer and over the course of the 3-month project timeline, I was tasked with designing and implementing parts of the flight controller, input system, configuration menu, and the Time Trial level/game mode, among other things. The final product of the team's work was showcased at ByLight's booth at IITSEC 2025 in Orlando, Fl.

Battleseries is a first-person shooter tech demo built in Unreal Engine 5, designed to showcase advanced gameplay systems inspired by the Battlefield franchise. With a focus on dynamic, role-based combat, the project features responsive weapon handling, vehicle mechanics, and context-sensitive controls that adapt seamlessly between infantry and vehicle gameplay. I developed systems for weapon switching, optics, turrets, countermeasures, and unique driving and flight models, emphasizing fluidity and tactical depth. Battleseries demonstrates my expertise in crafting polished, immersive mechanics that bring complex gameplay visions to life.

"RockStars!" is a third person Action-Adventure game where players take the role of a wandering space hippie. After their ship crash lands on an alien planet, their band members are scattered on its surface, leaving the player to find them. The game empahsizes unique instruments and abilities, diverse platforming challenges, environment interaction, various enemies, and culminates with a multi-phase final boss.

Shadows Over Vizaria is a​ 3rd person hack-and-slash action adventure game developed by Arson Arcade over a 3 month development cycle. My role of lead programmer had me responsible for the functioning systems in the game including combat, animation, AI, and quest management.​

The vertical slice we produced showcased a level that had the player pickup weapons and fight enemies as they continue down the mountainside to liberate the town and defeat the final boss.

Military Base was the final project for my Level Design course taken Spring 2024 and showcases my skillset in level and tech design expertise at the time. Inspired by training levels from Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare (2007) and Modern Warfare 2 (2009), this project guides players through learning to shoot, aim, and ultimately defend the base against an attack.
